Whole cane sugar is obtained by evaporation of sugar cane juice which is then dried and ground.
Having undergone no refining or transformation, the sugar retains its molasses and natural micro-nutrients, trace elements, mineral salts and vitamins.
Consumers particularly appreciate its rich but subtle flavours of caramel, licorice and vanilla.
This ‘golden’ grade is specially sieved into a fine powder and benefits from a second phase of drying with special technology which allows it to remain friable without forming hard solid blocks.
It is the ideal sugar for processing :
- fine powder with excellent dilution (0,6 mm)
- low humidity (<1%)
- rich golden colour (8000 – 11000 icumsa)
